Original oil painting on 22x28" canvas of the lupine flowers blooming along a mountain meadow with the colorful sunset over the mountains beyond. This scene is inspired by my hikes each night into the Breckenridge backcountry forests behind my house. Up the mountainside where they clear cut trees to create a fire barrier for the houses below. In this clearing you could view the whole Ten Mile Range clearly beyond.
