Along the Banks - Available At Glacier Art Museum
20x10” oil on canvas. Created during the Glacier Art Museum's Plein Air Paint Out Event in Glacier National Park Montana 2026. I had painted this scene alongside the McDonald Creek river mouth at the base of Going to the Sun road just past Lake McDonald.
A black bear with 3 cubs came by and checked me out twice while painting, then a mule deer swam across the river to me, a passing by kayaker and a few fly fishermen waded across. I chose not to paint anything extra in this painting to create that calming vibe and keep with the true Plein Aire on the spot honesty.
Framed in a 2" tall/deep Walnut wooden float frame.
